It’s Mini’s star attraction at this year’s ‘Concorso d’Eleganza’ staged at the glorious Villa d’Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy.
It’s all classic craftsmanship from the hand-shaped metal body to the coachwork construction and style inside.
The aluminium body is the work of the Italian company Touring Superlegerra which has been in the business since 1926 and the paint colour is a unique hue called ‘Como Blue’.
There are some hallmark Mini cues – the two circular headlights, hexagonal grille and bonnet stripes. And the rear lights form the shape of the Union Jack.
But the grille is closed as the Mini ‘Superlegerra Vision’ is an electric vehicle – possibly the first electric Mini ever seen.
Inside, the dashboard if formed in a single sheet of untouched aluminium and the brown leather is in the classical ‘Sabbia’ colour.
