No word from MINI about Australian plans for this racy-looking limited edition John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar model.
Commemorating MINI’s back-to-back success in the Dakar Rally, only 11 examples will be built, sold exclusively in France and they’re sure to become collectors’ favourites (a shame none are heading this way really).
Based on the John Cooper Works (JCW) Countryman, the ALL4 Dakar models transmits its 160kW to all four wheels on demand and, just like the real competition cars, is painted in matt black paint with lime green stripes with the Dakar Rally winners’ logo, signatures of winning driver Stephane Peterhansel and the car number (302). There’s also extra front spot-lights, unique side indictaors and 19-inch cross-spoke alloy wheels.
Inside you get Gravity Black sports seats (with the winners’ logo embroidered on the head-restraints), the JCW sports steering wheel and contrasting lime green stitching.
