Completing the core GLC refresh.
German luxury marque Mercedes-Benz have begun teasing their facelifted GLC-Coupé, which comes after the arrival of the proper GLC. And as with the regular car, the GLC-Coupé teased here shouldn’t offer major differences aesthetically, with just some updated headlights, taillights, and bumper treatments.
Inside, expect to find a new 12.3-inch digital instrument display on offer, as well as a free-standing central infotainment screen as part of the refresh in either 7-inch of 10.25-inch sizes. There should also be a new steering wheel incorporating the dual touch-pads on the 9-o’clock and 3-o’clock spokes, as well as a central touchpad to control the MMI system.
There shouldn’t be any major upsets in the powertrain department, with two- and four-wheel drive variants and a spread of 4-cylinder motors, sending power to wherever it needs to go via an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Expect to see the new GLC-Coupé land at the upcoming New York Auto Show, with a likely online reveal some time just before. It’ll be a while longer before the hot AMG models arrive though, and they’re expected to land towards the end of the year.
