“The new RX-8” people are saying after Mazda issued this image of an all-new sports car concept to debut in a few weeks at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Naturally at this stage Mazda is being tight-lipped about its news sports car but did tease with the comment the newcomer: “is modern but maintains a sense of lineage and authenticity, appearing to condense Mazda’s entire history of sports car development into a single model.”
As the image shows a short-tailed, long-bonnet hardtop it’s no wonder RX-7 and RX-8 devotees have gone into overdrive.
All will be revealed in Tokyo, along with – presumably – the engine of the new sports car.
