Mazda has confirmed its new compact crossover/SUV will be called the CX-5.
The stunning newcomer will debut in production form at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Mazda says the CX-5 will go on-sale in 2012.
The CX-5 is the first production vehicle to feature Mazda’s new ‘KODO – Soul Of Motion’ design theme and will be based on the MINAGI concept car currently being displayed at the New York Motor Show.
If looks count – and they do! – the little sibling of CX-9/CX-7, is off to a flying start.
