Australian Maserati buyers must wait until early next year to secure the new Quattroporte Sport GT S ‘Awards Edition’ model being unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
Still easily one of the most beautifully styled cars on the planet - six years after it first appeared - the Quattroporte has garnered some 56 international awards and the ‘Awards Edition’ model celebrates those achievements.
Based on the range topping Sport GT S model, the ‘Awards Edition’ looks stunning in its Quarzo fuso exterior finishing – a blend of pearlescent metallic grey with golden nuances. Dark grey satin finished 20-inch alloy wheels add to its luster.
Underneath, Maserati and its brake partner Brembo have developed special hand polished brake calipers which have a mirror-like appearance.
Inside the Poltrona Frau leather seats have added perforated Alcantara with a new undulated pattern. Alcantara is also used for the headlining.
Piano Black satin-finish wood moldings, brushed aluminium door-sills and extra thick floor mats further distinguish the ‘Awards Edition’ interior.
Even the cargo area is embellished with chrome trim and a leather side pocket.
Local pricing and details will be revealed ahead of the Australian launch early next year.
