Looking at these pics we’re thinking Aussie Mark Webber may have forgotten the ‘short-back-n-sides’ he received from the Red Bull F1 team and lead driver Sebastian Vettel in seasons 2012-’03.
As lead driver for the Porsche team in the World Endurance Championship, Webber, who lives in London, was asked to chauffer tennis star Maria Sharapova from The Goring Hotel in Belgravia to the Women’s Tennis Association pre-Wimbledon party at Kensington Roof Gardens.
The car was Porsche’s V8-hybrid 918 Spyder, the German giant’s most powerful and fuel-efficient road car.
Sure beats having to drive Vettel to the airport in a rental car after following him all day at a Grand Prix!
