Two fast guys got together in Tokyo recently when Australian F1 ace Mark Webber collected Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt from Narita Airport in a Nissan GT-R. Bolt was in town to sign an endorsement deal with Nissan and Webber’s Red Bull team is sponsored by Infiniti – the Japanese giant’s premium brand.
A Usain Bolt version of the Nissan GT-R is under development. As part of the development, Bolt has been test-driving some GT-R prototypes at the Nissan Proving Ground at Oppama, Japan.
In addition Nissan has assembled a one-off gold-painted GT-R for the remarkable sprinter. The special GTR will be auctioned on e-Bay with proceeds going to the Usain Bolt Foundation which assist children in his home country Jamaica.
