Mitsubishi has launched a limited edition ‘ACTiV’ version of its competent Outlander SUV.

Based on the entry-level Outlander LS variant, the Mitsubishi Outlander ‘ACTiV’ comes loaded with extra features at no extra cost – significantly boosting its already impressive value-for-money.

Mitsubishi Outlander ‘ACTiV’ is available in both 2WD and 4WD versions (the latter with a seven-seat option).

The extras list included in the ‘ACTiV’ specifications includes 18-inch alloy wheels, black roof rails with cross bars, fog lights and a stylish chrome/black finish for the front grille.

Inside, 2WD versions score automatic air-conditioning plus side and curtain airbags (already standard on 4WD models). Mitsubishi Outlander ‘ACTiV’ also gains reversing sensors, hands-free Bluetooth connectivity and extra chrome/silver trim finishes.

No changes under the bonnet – Mitsubishi Outlander ‘ACTiV’ is powered by the handy 125kW/226Nm, 2.4-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine driving through either a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic.

Mitsubishi is only manufacturing 1750 Outlander ‘ACTiVs’ for Australia.
