Like its big brother the Range Rover, Britain’s superb Land Rover Discovery 4 lineup scores detail improvements for the 2012 model year (on-sale in Australia in November).
Visual changes are not substantial but include some extra chrome inside, new-design alloy wheels and optional Satin Black roof rails.
Similar to the Range Rover, 2012 MY Land Rover Discovery 4 models score e big changes to the audio systems. The entry-level system gains Bluetooth/USB/iPod connectivity, the Hi-ICE Harmon Kardon system goes to 380W/11 speakers, while the premium Harman Kardon LOGIC 7 system goes to 825W/17 speakers – the latter two now with touch-screens (independent of the navigation system).
Rear seat entertainment switches to single slot DVD drive which can be loaded from inside the cabin (previously stored in the boot) with available WhiteFire cordless headphones
Changes too for the navigation systems – new touch screens and voice activation for Premium versions.
Land Rover will announce full Australia details and prices closer to launch in November.
