Kia’s handsome Optima mid-size sedan appeared in updated form at the New York International Auto Show.
Exterior changes see new front and rear designs while inside extra technology makes the Optima better equipped to take-on newer rivals.
Included on the list for North American models are a 4.3-inch TFT LCD instrument cluster and an eight-inch satellite navigation/telematics screen. There’s also new-design seats with more support, rear parking sensors and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) system with rear cross-traffic alert.
No changes to either petrol or diesel powertrains.
