Please get on with the reveal already.

With one more week to go before its official reveal, Kia has thought it prudent to whet appetites by releasing one more teaser of its upcoming four-door coupe. This is the fourth such teaser from the Korean marque of this particular car, which is leaving some commentators a little bored.

With the car first alluded to in 2011 in the shape of the GT Concept, the new rear-driven sedan will share its platform with Hyundai’s Genesis G80 sedan, and it’ll pack the Hyundai-Kia twin-turbo V6, which churns out 272kW and a whopping 510Nm. This is what gives Kia the right to tout it as their fastest car ever, with the upcoming coupe managing the century sprint in just 5.1-seconds.

This fourth teaser sees to show off some of the finer details of Kia’s newest offering, with embellishments like the headlights, taillights, exhaust tips, and interior getting some time to shine. It’s all a bit moot though, as ardent followers of CarShowroom would remember an earlier article we published with a spy shot of a near-ready production unit from within the Kia factory

Must be said though, we’re glad to see that the production GT is as evocative as the concept that spawned it six years ago.
