Kia has announced a five-year major sponsorship of the Essendon Bombers AFL team.
The AFL is becoming a crowded market for car companies. Toyota is the overall major sponsor of the AFL and also supports the Adelaide Crows. There’s also Ford (Geelong), Mazda (North Melbourne), Hyundai (Carlton) and Jeep (Richmond).
According to Essendon Chairman, David Evans, Kia’s support of the Bombers is one of the biggest sponsorship deals in AFL history.
