Although prices have not been confirmed, Honda Australia has announced the all-new Civic hatchback will be launched in June.
Available in two model grades, (VTi and VTi-L) the all-new Honda Civic hatch will employ Honda’s improved 1.8-litre, four-cylinder engine delivering 104kW at 6500rpm and 174Nm at 4300rpm and fuel consumption as low as 6.1l/100kms.
Debuting at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the all-new, European-styled Honda Civic hatchback highlights a contemporary look with a stylish sloping bonnet and swept C-pillars containing the rear door handles. Safety gets a big tick, five-star ANCAP thanks to items like six airbags (front, side and full-length curtain).
Inside, the Honda Civic hatchback mirrors its sedan siblings in featuring Honda’s full-colour Intelligent Multi-information display with a background ‘wallpaper’ you can personalize with your own photographs.
Amongst its extras, the Honda Civic VTi-L hatchback gets a reversing camera (a proven safety boost still rare in small cars) and leather seats (heated fronts).
