British magazines don’t hold back on patriotism, but nevertheless ‘Autoweek’s’ nomination of the Jaguar C-X16 as ‘Best In Show’ and Land Rover’s DC100 Sport as ‘Best Concept’ from the Frankfurt Motor Show are probably accurate.
The stunning C-X16 – the smallest Jaguar design in 50 years – is a stunner and its sumptuous looks, combined with its 280kW hybrid-supercharged V6 engine, point the way to a new generation of Jaguar sports cars.
And the Land Rover DC100 Sport and DC100 are clues to the next generation Land Rover Defender…and replacing an automotive icon will always capture headlines.
