Jaguar’s ultra-luxury XK sedan gains a racy brother with the XJR set to debut at next week’s New York International Auto Show.
With muscly look to go with its 410kW powerplant, the new Jaguar XJR sets a high-performance sedan benchmark in Jaguar’s expanding product portfolio.
Chassis development included extensive testing at Germany’s Nurburgring race circuit so the Jaguar XJR promises to be extraordinary by any measure.
“The growing R performance lineup offers our customers the truly elevated dynamics and design, but in a Jaguar luxury package. The Jaguar XJR is a British performance machine that delivers emotionally and dynamically on the road and on the track,” explained Andy Goss, Jaguar’s North American chief.
