Hyundai is making life hard for computer ‘Spell Check’ programs with its new concept car called the ‘i-oniq’.
Due for global reveal at the Geneva Motor Show early next year, the Hyundai i-oniq has been teased in this preliminary photo.
Hyundai’s latest European concept was created at the company’s styling studios in Russelsheim, Germany and certainly extends the ‘fluidic sculpture’ design ethos which has lead to cars such as the Hyundai i40, i45 and latest-generation Elantra.
“Two strong arched curves define the silhouette of i-oniq, creating a playful contrast between the sharp character lines and soft but muscular features,” explained Hyundai’s European chief designer Thomas Burkle.
We’ll have to wait until the Geneva Motor Show to fully understand what he’s getting at.
