Hyundai have teamed up with automotive render and artwork agency Gurnade Inc to create this rather audacious interpretation of a Veloster, which presumably will be constructed and shown off at the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The Veloster always did have a unique look to it - contributing to its appeal and the specific tastes one would need to have to own one. However, this may sway more than a couple of folks to the 3-door coupe/hatch’s cause.
Assuming that the car will appear as it does in the render, emerging from Hyundai North America’s skunkworks in time for SEMA, it will feature all the modified bodywork the Gurnade (in collaboration with the Korean marque’s own designers, presumably) have drawn in.
These include a much wider track that’s facilitated by bulging wheel arches, a significantly lowered suspension, fixed rear wing, flat bottom paired with aggressive front splitter and side sills, heavily vented hood, front grille mesh that hides a motorsport-grade intercooler to tame the higher-output tuned turbocharged engine.
Here’s the list of extra kit fitted (or will be fitted) to this custom Veloster:

“Gurnade has always been drawn to the uniquely aggressive lines of the production Veloster,” said Joshua Cloud, owner of Gurnade, Inc. “So when Hyundai approached us with the opportunity to develop one of their vehicles for SEMA, we didn’t hesitate to create the Gurnade Veloster Concept. It leverages all the strengths of the Veloster and takes it where we always envisioned it could go.”
