Hyundai has partnered with aftermarket company EGR Group to develop this great-looking Veloster SR Turbo for the SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas next month.
Developed for night racing circuits, the ‘EGR Night Racer’ in its vivid yellow ‘Yellowcake’ paint (developed by PPG paints) shows what is possible with Hyundai’s clever three-door coupe.
Power comes from a Bisimoto Engineering developed version of the turbocharged 1.6-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine with output up to 185kW.
A roll-cage boosts chassis rigidity and the lowered sports suspension features ARK coil-over struts and an AEM strut brace.
Braking is handled by Brembo brakes and the EGR Night Racer rides on DPE 3-piece racing wheels fitted with Toyo semi-slick racing tyres.
There’s also a unique sports body kit, Wurton LED light bar, ONEighty custom headlights and Takata racing seats and safety harnesses.
