Hyundai have given a glimpse of their future design direction by releasing a picture of the Intrado concept which will be unveiled at 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The Hyundai Intrado will be the first car to showcase the new design theme called Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. Lead by Peter Schreyer, President & CDO of Hyundai Motor Group the concept has been styled and engineered primarily at Hyundai Motor European R&D centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany.
Featuring an updated hydrogen fuel cell, the new fuel cell is both smaller and lighter than the current design that is found in the Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell. Inspired by aircraft the Intrado has been designed using advanced materials, removal of all unnecessary weight and a highly efficient powertrain.
Peter Schreyer, President & CDO of Hyundai Motor Group, commented: “Hyundai Intrado envisages a motoring future that encapsulates the efficiency and freedom associated with flying. I believe in the power of mobility to deliver emotional as well as physical connections and this car helps us find again the joy of discovery. Intrado shows that future cars can be relevant and exciting.”
Carshowroom.com.au can't wait to see the car in flesh at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show where full details will be released.
