Just launched in Australia, the Hyundai i40 Tourer has taken out the Golden Award at the EuroCarBody conference in Germany – ahead of accomplished European and Japanese rivals.
Hyundai had never previously entered the awards, judged by 500 global delegates from the automotive supply and manufacturing industries.
With a score of 37.98 points out of 50, the Hyundai i40 Tourer was complimented for its advanced engineering, production efficiency and effective use of materials. Second place went to the Audi A6 with the new Mercedes-Benz B-Class in third.
