Hyundai’s nicely-styled i40 has captured the maximum five-star safety rating in the latest round of EuroNCAP barrier tests.
In fact the i40’s scores represent some of the best in its segment including 92 per cent in the adult test, 86 per cent in the child test and 86 per cent in the safety assist category.
EuroNCAP praised the Hyundai i40 head-restraints and seat design for the good whiplash protection in rear-end collisions.
Hyundai Australia will soon launch the i40 wagon in Australia but has not as yet confirmed local plans for the i40 sedan.
