Hyundai has confirmed the good-looking wagon version of the i30 will arrive in local dealerships early next year.
Another product of the Korean giant’s competent design studios in Russelsheim, Germany, the i30 Tourer will employ two 1.6-litre engines – the petrol delivering 99kW/164Nm and the diesel 94kW/260Nm. Transmissions will be six-speeders (manual and automatic).
The Hyundai i30 Tourer shares the 2650mm wheelbase of the hatchback version, but is 185mm longer in overall length. Hyundai says the slick i30 Tourer provides handy luggage capacity up to 1,642-litres.
The model range is Hyundai’s usual entry-grade ‘Active’ and up-spec ‘Elite’ – the latter only available as a diesel automatic.
The lineup looks like this:
Active petrol manual $22,990
Active petrol automatic $24,990
Active diesel manual $25,590
Active diesel automatic $27,590
Elite diesel automatic $31,190
