A timely boost ahead of Australian launch, Hyundai’s all-new i30 has been awarded the maximum 5-Star safety rating by Euro NCAP.

Included in the Euro NCAP assessment of the Hyundai i30 were a class-leading 90 per-cent score in child occupant protection and an identical score for adult protection.

Hyundai i30 also scored well in the ‘safety assist’ category with a rating of 86 per cent as well as in the ‘pedestrian’ test where the front bumper has been designed to protect the legs of pedestrians.

The five-star score for the all-new i30 model is Hyundai’s seventh consecutive five-star result in Euro NCAP testing – the most recent being the Veloster three-door sports coupe.
