The 50th anniversary of the iconic E-Type Jaguar is reason for the British company to celebrate – with another red-hot sports car.
Jaguar will unveil its fastest-ever production car at the Geneva Motor Show – the XKR-S.
Under the bonnet is a an uprated version of Jaguar’s supercharged V8 engine – in this case delivering 405kW/680Nm. That’s good enough for zero to 100km/h in just 4.4 seconds.
Despite that performance, Jaguar says the XKR-S is the only car in its class with exhaust emissions under 300g/km.
Keeping all that pin-downed, Jaguar has fitted the XKR-S with uprated suspension and adjusted its Adaptive Dynamics system to suit high performance enthusiast drivers.
On the outside, aerodynamic changes for the Jaguar XKR-S are clear to see.
Jaguar will reveal further details when the XKR-S is unveiled in Geneva.
