Value’s the name of the game with this limited-run variant.
Though the Honda HR-V is an immensely popular choice for those shopping in the compact crossover segment, we have reason to believe that it’s about to get even more popular with the introduction of the value-driven HR-V Limited Edition (LE) seen here.
Essentially a repackaged VTi, the LE brings with it a $1425 premium over the VTi on which it’s based, but packs $3600 of additional features and specs, making it pretty good value. Drive-away pricing of this interesting proposition sits at $28,990.
Honda Australia director Stephen Collins said, “Honda’s limited edition models have proven to be a popular addition to our regular offers, and particularly for customers who may be cross-shopping with other brands looking for a great deal.” Over the VTi, the LE comes with things like 17-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, side steps, and keyless entry and go to justify its price hike. Roof-rails also join the party, along with a grey finish on bits of the bumpers, giving the little Honda a little more utility cred.
Four exterior colours will be offered with the LE, those being Morpho Blue pearl, White Orchid pearl, Lunar Silver metallic and Modern Steel metallic. Order books for the HR-V Limited Edition are open today.
