Not content with its upcoming NSX supercar, the sporty theme seems set to continue at Honda with word this nicely-styled two-seater – the S660 concept – will bow at the Tokyo Motor Show next month.
Looking like a successor to the S2000, is rumoured to be powered by either a turbocharged 0.66-litre, three-cylinder engine or a 1.0-litre, four-cylinder. Honda being Honda you can bet they’ll love to rev – in fact speculation in Japan points to a redline starting with a ‘9’.
Styling for the mid-engine, two-seater is certainly cutting-edge – the kicked-up rear three-quarters adding some muscle as do the front fender air-vents which bleed into prominent side cut-outs.
At the front, the Honda S660 gets a menacing look courtesy of the narrow-look four headlights and large grille.
Inside, the Honda S660 does look production-ready and we love the F1 style steering wheel which is flat top and bottom.
