Honda expanded its hybrid lineup at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney, unveiling the hybrid version of the Jazz compact hatchback.
Honda says the Jazz hybrid will be on-sale locally next year with a mid $20,000 price tag.
The clever part of the Jazz hybrid is that despite the extra hybrid components, Honda has been able to maintain most of its famous practicality including the ‘Magic Seats’.
So you get the Honda Jazz user-friendliness with hybrid fuel economy at a price well under the Toyota Prius.
Inside the Honda jazz hybrid features its own version of the Eco-Assist colour-coded dashboard display familiar in the CR-Z and Insight hybrids.
The 1.3-litre i-VTEC petrol engine with Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist system is good for 72kW/167Nm.
Cruise control is included in the comprehensive standard features which make the Honda Jazz hybrid such good value.
