Honda’s all-new HR-V compact SUV has been confirmed as a February arrival in Australia.
Power comes courtesy of a 105kW/172Nm 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine driving through a CVT automatic transmission.
Honda says the HR-V will launch in four variants – VTi, VTi-S, VTi-L and VTi-L with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).
While Honda will not reveal prices until closer to launch, we know the entry-level VTi will run 16-inch alloy wheels, a three-mode multi-angle reversing camera and the Honda Jazz style ‘magic’ folding seats.
Honda HR-V VTi-S adds extra including 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and DRLs, front fog lights, roof rails, blind-spot monitoring and city brake.
Stepping-up to the Honda HR-V VTi-L brings interior leather, a panoramic glass sunroof, front and rear parking sensors and steering wheel paddle shifters.
The ADAS system provides forward collision warning, lane departure warning and high beam support.
