Honda’s hybrid Jazz compact hatchback was recently revealed at the Paris Motor Show.
Cleverly, Honda has managed to package the hybrid technology – the battery pack and power control unit - under the boot floor so the large cargo capacity with its flat floor (a standout feature of the versatile Jazz) is retained.
Power comes from the IMA hybrid motor as used for some time in the Honda Insight and CR-Z.
The petrol engine in the Jazz Hybrid is shared with Honda’s Insight – a 1.3-litre unit. Australian details are still to be released but we expect something at this weeks Australian International Motor Show.
