Here it is on the road at last! Honda’s breakthrough NSX sports car will be on-track at the North American IndyCar race at Lexington, Ohio the weekend after next.
The NSX looks a cracker and closely resembles the concept car which debuted at the Detroit Auto Show last year.
As we know, power comes from a kid-mounted V6 petrol engine pared with Honda’s new three-motor Sport Hybrid system and driving all four wheels.
Being developed by Honda North America and scheduled for production at the Honda plant in Marysville, Ohio, the all-new NSX will be on-sale next year.
Honda Australia chief Stephen Collins has said he’s put his hand in the air for the NSX to be sold locally but naturally it will be some time before the final decision and Aussie details are released.
