Honda has unveiled the 2012 Fit (Jazz in Australia) electric vehicle (EV) at the Los Angeles Auto Show and announced plans to commence a lease program in North America.
Honda says the electric Fit has a range between battery recharges up to 150kms. Power comes from a development of the electric drive system fitted to Honda’s CR-Z Sport Hybrid.
The vehicle will initially be available to lease in two states, California and Oregon at approximately $399 per month. Six East Coast USA markets will get the electric Fit in early 2013.
