Performance car enthusiasts can relax – Honda has confirmed supply of the pocket-rocket Civic Type R is continuing for Australia.
Production of the Honda Civic Type R at Honda’s UK plant will be scaled back at the end of this year as it does not comply with Euro 5 emissions regulations due for introduction in January 2011.
So while sales of the potent Civic Type R will be ending in some European markets, supply to Honda Australia will be continuing unchanged.
That’s good news because at $39,990, the high-revving Honda sporty is a favourite with high performance hatchback enthusiasts.
