Honda has released this rendering of its Civic Type R concept car which will have its global unveiling at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.
Type R fans will tell you in no uncertain terms Honda needs a new pocket rocket big-time and they’re counting down the days until the new model arrives next year.
Honda calls the Type R concept a ‘racing car for the road’ (that imaginative…not!) and says the Geneva vehicle will provide the strongest clues yet about the all-new model.
At Geneva we’re also promised the powertrain layout of the upcoming Honda NSX supercar. That would be the longitudinal twin-turbo V6 with the three motor SportHybrid all-wheel-drive system.
