Holden has announced the newest addition to their Colorado range of pickup trucks with the LS-X, offered at a driveaway price of $37,990.
The 2016 model year Colorado LS-X will be on sale across Australia starting from May 2016 and is based on the Colorado LS that was introduced last year.
Just like the Holden pickup variants that it joins the stables with, the new Colorado LS-X comes touting a 3.5-tonne towing capacity, ‘shift-on-the-fly’ 4WD system but also comes with some additional touches to give it that more upmarket edge.
Of note, these features include the set of 16-inch alloy wheels as standard, front fog lamps, and an alloy sports bar. The Colorado LS-X also comes with a smoked bonnet protector and LS-X badging – including on the sports bar.
Moving to the Colorado LS-X’s interior, there’s upgraded premium floor carpets and also includes added multimedia prowess a 7-inch central touchscreen infortainment system with Holden MyLink.
Of the new Colorado LS-X, Peter Keley, Holden’s Executive Director for Sales, said: “Colorado is a very tough and accomplished vehicle and now, with the additional LS-X features and an attractive price, it ensures Holden continues to provide exceptional value for money. Additionally with our End of Financial Year Offers, this is an excellent time for customers to visit their local Holden dealer.”
