Haval Unveils The H7 SUV Ahead Of Beijing Debut

Due for an official unveiling at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show, Chinese manufacturer Haval has chosen to release a photograph of its newest production SUV, the H7, ahead next week’s event.

Judging by the name, Haval has chosen to create a vehicle that fits between its H6 and H8 in terms of size and also most likely will slice the two models in terms of price as well.

Haval has not released much information on their new H7, but following the H7’s unveil should be a global rollout with the Australian market release predicted to be somewhere in mid-2016 and offered either in 2WD or 4WD configurations.

The H7 will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that’s mated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. Haval has not made its power figures privy to the public but they did say that it allows the H7 to make the century sprint from rest in 9 seconds.

Haval says that the H7 will the first to boast certain advanced safety features not previously available in their vehicles such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and autonomous emergency braking.

Currently, Haval offers three models to Australian buyers starting with the H2 crossover, followed by the larger H8 and H9 SUVs.
