Great value for Hyundai’s updated Series II i30 Tourer – the compact wagon gaining significant extra kit and new looks but prices start from just $27,990.
Headlining the changes across both petrol and diesel variants is the standard fitment of the fuel-saving seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Styling sees the Tourer pick-up the changes we saw earlier this year with the Hyundai i30 hatchback – the new, larger hexagonal grille and new 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside there is a new dashboard to accommodate the five-inch multimedia touchscreen ( seven-inch in Elite model) which displays the reversing camera image.
And on the audio front is an upgraded system which includes Pandora internet radio (when paired with a compatible IOS or Android phone).
No changes under the bonnet with power coming from either the 98kW/163Nm 1.6-litre petrol engine or the 100kW/300Nm diesel.
The full lineup is:
| 1.6 GDi Petrol Tourer | $27,990 |
| 1.6 CRDi Diesel Tourer | $30,590 |
| 1.6 CRDi Diesel Tourer Elite | $34,190 |
