While much focus at BMW’s Frankfurt Motor Show will be on the all-new M5 and 1 Series, just as significant will be two debutants from the new BMW i sub-brand.
Both the i3 Concept and i8 Concept will be revealed in Frankfurt.
The i8 is very special – a plug-in hybrid sports car from BMW is sure to be a stunner and a glimpse at the future direction of sports cars.
And the i3 (known as the ‘Megacity’ during development) is BMW’s first pure electric vehicle. Designed as a city vehicle, the BMWi3 adopts BMW’s hallmark premium quality in a compact, zero-emissions form.
