Just 200 examples of Ford Performance Vehicles’ (FPV) 5th Anniversary model will roll from the Campbellfield (Melbourne) workshop so Ford fans – get in quick!
Only available in Lightening Strike (silver) or Silhouette (black), the 5th Anniversary V8s carry unique 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes plus unique body stripes and logos on the front seat head rests and floor mats.
The ‘Boss 315’ 5.4-litre V8 delivers 315 kW of power and 551 Nm of torque. Drive is to the rear wheels (naturally) via either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Dynamic Stability Control, driver and front passenger airbags plus curtain airbags and front seat side thorax airbags deliver an impressive safety story.
Priced at $71,890 (rrp) the 5th Anniversary FPV stacks-up well against the FPV GT.
FPV modestly expects the 5th Anniversary to rapidly become collector cars along with the company’s 40th Anniversary GT and Cobra models.
