More news for Ford Mustang fans as local engineers test left-hand-drive models at the Lara Proving Ground near Geelong.
More than 2,000 keen Australians have already paid deposits on Mustangs months before the first shipment arrives locally late this year.
Most are buying the storming V8 GT model.
Ford Australia has also confirmed all Mustang models sold locally will feature the ‘Performance Pack’ which adds the under-bonnet strut tower ‘K Brace’, uprated chassis tuning, heavy duty front springs and, for fastback models a thicker rear anti-roll bar.
