Visitors to the Geneva Motor Show can try Ford’s first-ever all-electric vehicle – the Focus Electric – thanks to a special test-ride program.
Due for launch early next year, the Ford Focus Electric will be the first in a range of electric-powered Ford vehicles.
The Focus Electric uses 23kWh lithium ion batteries and Ford is targeting a range between re0-charges of 160kms. Re-charges take between three and four hours.
Like the similarly-sized Nissan LEAF, the Ford Focus Electric incorporates a range of smart driver aids inside to help owners drive smartly to extract maximum convenience from the zero-emissions hatchback.
