Good news for Hyundai as the Korean company gets set to launch its innovative Veloster in Australia - the three door sports coupe has scored the maximum five-star safety rating from EuroNCAP.
In fact the Hyundai Veloster posted some ‘best in class’ scores after it barrier testing.
Maximum points in the side barrier test and side hold test to help the Hyundai Veloster score 96 per-cent in the ‘adult occupant’ category and in the child occupant score, Hyundai’s brand-new coupe racked-up 89 per cent.
Those scores rent the young neighbour lost ahead of segment rivals like the Volkswagen Scirocco, Opel Astra GTC and Citroen DS4.
The Veloster follows the i40 tourer - just launched in Australia – to be the sixth consecutive Hyundai vehicle to achieve the maximum five-star rating from EuroNCAP .
