Volkswagen’s all-new Jetta and Golf cabriolet have emerged from the latest round of Euro NCAP barrier testing with the maximum five-star rating.
For occupant safety the Golf Cabriolet scored 96 per cent and the Jetta scored 94 per cent. And both scored maximum points for child safety in both 18 months and 3 years categories.
Other impressive scores were achieved in pedestrian safety and the ‘safety assist’ category.
