Audi’s new A3 has garnered the maximum five-star safety rating after the latest round of Euro NCAP barrier tests.
Audi A3 scored top marks for driver and passenger protection in frontal and side impact collisions and was praised for the seat belt warning system for both front and rear seats. And Audi’s pyrotechnic release mechanism for the bonnet was praised in the pedestrian protection test.
Equipped with Audi’s impressive array of safety technology, the A3 adds ‘multicollision brake’ – an automatic engagement of the brakes after an impact to reduce subsequent impacts.
