Faraday Future Teases Connectivity Before Big Reveal

The car we’re not sure is real, now moments away from its reveal.

With just hours to go before the big reveal, scandal-ridden electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Faraday Future has uploaded its last teaser before the event, this time talking about car connectivity. When FF first talked about a production car, it spoke at length about how its car will integrate itself into the lives of their owners and the information ecosystem at large, and this is the most it’s detailed of its plans since then.

The description of this video says, “Don’t merely tap into the Internet - Be a breathing part of it. Every in-car instrument is interconnected to each other, and the internet at large.” Well… the vague nature of this teaser (and indeed every FF teaser before it) means we’re still scratching our heads.

Previous teasers have talked about things like its camera-substituted wing-mirrors, its “NASA-inspired” cabin and seats (that it cannot use), as well as seemingly unrivalled powertrain capabilities (taking the fight onto performance benchmarks in various segments).

The mystery behind the brand and its production car will, hopefully, be banished shortly, with the big reveal at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 at sometime between 6pm-7.30pm, from the World Market Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada. The reveal itself will be streamed live on their official website - just click here.
