Still waiting on something real.

Faraday Future Isn’t Dead… Yet

So get this, some inexperienced young director says to a table of overeager Faraday Future executives. We take out one of your done-looking cars, on a foggy day, and drive it around. We wash out the colours, add some music to it, and bam. That’s your budget video that doesn’t look budget.

This was likely the conversation that was had right before embattled Californian EV startup Faraday Future signed off on this particular… whatever. Neither a teaser nor a product video, all it really does is show off the FF91 in totally normal settings, doing totally normal things, like taking corners and driving on motorways like a totally normal car. There’s no drool-inducing engine noise either, with the FF91 being totally electric and all.

The 1-minute long film does little to inform us of any progress, with no obvious changes from the car we saw at launch (except that the FF ‘floating badges’ in the middle of the wheels don’t appear to float anymore), and not a single interior shot either (Futuris still won’t let them use their seats).

We’re surprised that the video itself was only 67-seconds long, as Faraday Future has a knack at taking absolutely nothing and drawing it. Guess the FF91 ran out of juice or something. In summary, here’s a video of Faraday Future doing what it does best: Nothing, really.

Stay tuned to CarShowroom as we bring you more info as it comes.
