V6 petrol versions of Holden’s popular Colorado ute are now available with dual-fuel LPG.
Available in 4x2 Single Cab Chassis and Crew Cab pickup models, the dual-fuel version of Holden’s Alloytec V6 is good for 155kW/300Nm. Cleverly, the LPG-equipped Colorado uses Sequential Vapour Gas Injection (SVGI) to inject gas directly into the intake manifold – exactly the same as petrol injection.
The dual-fuel Colorado is equipped with an extra 76-litre LPG tank (crew cabs) or 56-litre (Cab Chassis) and the existing petrol tank is unchanged. Running on LPG, the dual-fuel Holden Colorado returns fuel consumption as low as 16.7l/100kms.
Drivers can seamlessly switch between LPG and petrol.
The LPG option carries a price tag of $3,850 extra.
