DS, the former Citroen sub-brand but now a full fledge peer within the PSA Group, the premium French brand will be adding new Performance Line trim levels to stable of vehicles.
While the Performance Line doesn’t necessarily bring performance advantages (yet?), it does give the vehicles a more aggressive and simultaneously stylish air and presence, both inside and out.
It will be offered on the DS 3, the DS 3 Cabrio, DS 4, and DS 5 - all of which will be available with, among other things, a two-tone exterior paint finish, black trim and accents, and larger gloss black alloy wheels.
The Performance Line will join other trim levels within the DS lexicon which includes Chic, Elegance, Prestige, and Ultra Prestige. In terms of pricing, it will be positioned higher than Elegance but less expensive than Prestige.
The interior of all cars chosen with the Performance Line trim also gain extra touches that give it a more sporty impression. These include upholstery and materials comprising of grained leather and grippy Dinamica fabric, contrast stitch work on throughout the cabin, and even some areas lavished in Nappa leather.
Additionally, Performance Line vehicles will also include PSA’s latest infotainment system offering which now includes support for Apple CarPlay and Mirrorlink connectivity, controllable from a higher resolution touchscreen panel.
