From both ends of the Audi product range – the luxurious new A6 sedan and funky A1 compact – the German brand collected category wins at Britain’s Auto Express New Car Awards 2011.
The Audi A6 was named ‘Best Executive Car’ and the Audi A1 was named ‘Best Premium Supermini’.
It was particularly good news for the Audi A6 – the just-launched new generation model capturing particular praise from Graham Hope, Acting Editor of Auto Express, Britain’s top-selling motoring magazine.
“The new A6 has wasted no time in demonstrating its abilities, having seen off a whole host of talented and desirable rivals to secure class honours in this competitive sector. The car’s stunning cabin, excellent engines and sharp dynamics set a benchmark for others to beat,” Mr Hope said.
