Just two weeks after lopping $750 from the price of its Corolla Ascent and Yaris YR 5-door models, Toyota has launched a finance offer for those models of just 2.9 per cent.
The four-year Toyota Finance Advantage deal is available on Corolla Ascent and Yaris YR 5-door hatches between now and January 31 next year.
Toyota says the 2.9 per cent interest rate is less than one-quarter of the rate charged by some rival motor vehicle finance companies.
It’s especially tempting following the earlier price cut to $20,990 for the Corolla Ascent manual and $15,690 for the Yaris YR 5-door manual. Included in the Corolla Ascent hatch upgrade were the addition of full-length curtain and drivers’ knee airbags (now seven airbags in Corolla) and electric rear windows.
Corolla and Yaris account for 60 per cent of Toyota’s passenger car sales in Australia.
“We are determined to continue offering customers excellent value with these cars, whether by adding features, repositioning prices or through other competitive offers such as finance,” explained Toyota’s sales and marketing chief, David Buttner.
